If you’re travelling to Australia, this is the ideal time for fans following the British and Irish Lions Rugby Tour in Australia June 2013 to combine their love of rugby with a few short breaks between matches.

The Tour of 9 games will start on 5 June when the Lions play the Western Force in Perth and will finish following the final Test against the Wallabies on 6 July.

Most of the British Lions matches will be on the East Coast of Australia between Brisbane and Melbourne during Australia’s winter season so there is no better place than Queensland to shake off the chill of an Australian winter than Brisbane, Gold Coast, Cairns or Port Douglas.

Or if you and your wife or girlfriend are taking a few days off between matches and travelling to Cairns or Port Douglas, why not come and see some real Wallabies, hopping below our fleet of hot air balloons, west of the Great Barrier Reef!

The very best players from the 4 original Rugby Home Unions will form a squad to take on each of the Australian Super 15 sides, a combined NSW & QLD Country team and 3 Tests against the Australian Wallabies.

The next game is Lions V QLD Reds at Brisbane on 8 June, we suggest booking your hot air balloon morning tour in advance, as Brisbane will be busy.

Following that there are games in Newcastle -Lions V Country NSW & QLD, Sydney -Lions V Waratahs and Canberra – Lions V Brumbies before returning to Brisbane for the first Test against the Wallabies.
