The stars of Singapore’s popular sitcom “The Noose” visited the Gold Coast recently where they experienced Theme Parks, Million Dollar Views, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, Whale Watching, Hot Air Ballooning, O’Reilly’s and the Nightlife.

International visitors to the Gold Coast flying Scoot, will land and then be keen to take off again, floating into Australia’s wide open spaces with Hot Air Balloon Gold Coast.

Especially after Channel 5, Singapore’s No. 1 English TV station and two characters from the popular local sitcom “The Noose” flew over to Queensland with Scoot to experience ballooning and a champagne breakfast at O’Reilly’s Canungra Vineyard, with platypus in the Vineyard’s garden stream.

The media group had a fantastic morning in a charter hot air balloon and got heaps of shots of the Gold Coast hinterland and a stunning Queensland sunrise, even uploading one later in the morning on the Scoot Facebook page. Radio 98.7FM in Singapore also made mention of Hot Air Balloon Gold Coast as one of the key things to do on a Gold Coast holiday.

Andrew Steel, Managing Director of Hot Air Balloon Gold Coast, said “ In 2011 we had visitors from over 41 countries come ballooning with us on the Gold Coast and our team are really looking forward to the boost that airline access like Scoot now gives to South East Queensland for so many of the international markets that enjoy our balloon rides”. He also said that as Tourism Australia noted, with Singapore now Australia’s sixth largest international tourism market and with this new airline access via Scoot available to the UK, India and other South East Asian markets, the popularity of Gold Coast day touring combinations like Hot Air Ballooning and Whale Watching, Ballooning with free transfers to any of the Gold Coast Theme Parks or Ballooning and Jetboating are all sure to be on the up and up.
