Pick-up at hotel by a Hot Air Port Douglas coach for your special package tour, one hour transfer, pickup times confirmed on booking. Minimum age for child is 12 years.

Please note that Hot Air will drop you into Cairns city for approx 4 hrs shopping/exploring Cairns city until 2pm pickup by Rafting coach. (We recommend Pickup from the Shangri-La Hotel, The Mairna, Cairns). Please specify if you would prefer to be returned to Port Douglas for approx 1:15pm hotel pickup.
Your experienced whitewater rafting River Guide will pick you up from the Shangri-La Hotel, The Marina, Cairns and transfer you to the top of the Barron River (Grade 3) just 20 minutes away.
Arrive at Barron Gorge Power Station. Split up into crews for briefing. You'll spend a bit over one and a half hours on the river, its a grade 3 river, great as an introductory experience and for those looking for a shorter rafting trip than the full day Tully
